Your Help is Needed to Provide the Arts for Veterans!
David J. Drakulich Foundation needs to reach its quarterly goal of $5000 between April and June 2019 to continue quality arts, humanities and recreation programming for our local veterans. Please help us reach our goal!
David J. Drakulich Foundation's Quality Programs:
Combat Paper Nevada makes paper from military uniforms and inspires such art projects as the Legend of 1000 Combat Paper Cranes.
Northern Nevada Veterans Writing Project provides opportunities to compose, edit, refine and publish written works through support groups, peer coaching, mentor coaching, workshops, and publishing opportunities such as seen in Rucksack Revelations and Sea Bag Stories produced with Reno Little Theater, July 2018.
Sgt. Drakulich Memorial Scholarship has been established at Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno, Nevada, for students who are veterans or military connected and taking art.
Military Community Art Programs serve the local military-connected community with art lessons, opportunities to show finished work in galleries, and serve the community with art experiences.
DJD Foundation Operating Expenses are the day-to-day costs to run the foundation. DJD Foundation is mainly aided by the committed volunteers who donate of their time and efforts.
David J. Drakulich Foundation thanks you for your support!
