David J. Drakulich Foundation invites you to join our mission: to improve healing and reintegration outcomes of the veterans, military families and caretakers of Nevada. With your help, we can continue to provide quality programs, employ veterans and provide enriching content for our community.

David J. Drakulich Foundation's Quality Programs:

Combat Paper Nevada teaches veterans and military families to make paper from military uniforms. Combat Paper Nevada inspires such creative and expressive art projects as the Legend of 1000 Combat Paper Cranes and Waving in the Wind.

Northern Nevada Veterans Writing Project provides opportunities to compose, edit, refine and publish written works through support groups, peer coaching, mentor coaching, workshops, and publishing opportunities such as seen in Rucksack Revelations and Sea Bag Stories produced with Reno Little Theater, July 2018.

Sgt. Drakulich Memorial Scholarship established at Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno, Nevada, for veterans or military-connected.

Veterans Art Program provides veterans with art lessons, gallery opportunities, support groups, peer critiques and serves communities with art experiences that express the voices of veterans and the military community.

DJD Foundation Operating Expenses are the day-to-day costs to run the foundation. Your donation helps DJD Foundation with everything from rent for commercial space to volunteer opportunities to supplies etc., needed to continue our valuable and unique services for veterans and military families.
